We are pleased to report that Beck Greener has been shortlisted for the STEM Employer award in the STEM Inspiration Awards 2016.  The firm has been nominated for our “STEM: Branching Out” project introduced earlier this year.

As part of the project, twelve of our sixteen patent fee earners have become STEM Ambassadors with STEMNET (now STEM Learning) to promote careers involving STEM subjects in general and to raise awareness of the IP profession in particular.  To date, we have attended five events and have managed to reach nearly 1000 students from Years 3 to 12.  The project has been facilitated by the introduction by the partnership of one day’s paid leave for voluntary work.  More information about the project can be found here.

The winner will be announced at an event at the House of Lords on 24 November 2016.
