Our attorneys can both review your existing portfolio of design registrations, and/or conduct a IP audit for your business to identify all of the existing registered and unregistered IP related to it, establishing the ownership of that IP, and identifying any necessary or recommended steps to further safeguard the rights located.
As well as advising on and monitoring the appropriate deadlines to renew and maintain registered rights in your existing portfolio, we may, for example, recommend filing applications to shore up protection, putting licences in place, assigning or transferring rights where appropriate, and recording any relevant transactions on the design registers where it is advisable to do so.
