IP News

In March, the EUIPO announced that, in view of the coronavirus crisis, all time limits affecting any party before them which were due to expire between 9 March 2020 and 30 April 2020 would be extended to 1 May 2020.

This week (on 29 April 2020), due to the ongoing crisis, the EUIPO has announced that all time limits affecting any party before them currently expiring between 1 May 2020 and 17 May 2020 will now expire on 18 May 2020.  In effect, this means that all time limits before the Office which were due to expire between 9 March 2020 and 17 May 2020 which have not been satisfied will now expire on 18 May 2020.
