Unitary Patent Package Moving Forward Again

Germany has now ratified the Unified Patent Court Agreement after a long delay caused by challenges before the Constitutional Court.  No dates have yet been set for opening of the court or starting of the unitary patent system.  However, developments are expected in the next few months. Following Brexit, the United Kingdom will not be a member of the new system.

We will continue to issue updates regarding the Unitary Patent Package as matters develop.
