Expertise
A highly experienced IP lawyer and trade mark attorney, Susan brings her extensive in-house experience to bear to provide clients with practical, business-focused advice on their most challenging disputes. Her tactical acumen and commercial astuteness make her a valued part of any team.
Susan specialises in Intellectual Property law, with a particular focus on trade marks. Having qualified as a solicitor with a major London based IP law practice she gained valuable experience in complex litigation. Now at Beck Greener, she continues to specialise in contentious matters, attracting admiration for her sure touch in handling disputes before the UK and EU trade mark offices and the UK High Court.
Before joining Beck Greener, Susan headed the BBC’s IP litigation and Brand Protection Team. This has given her a profound insight into the challenges facing the media, along with an understanding of the needs of in-house counsel and the constraints under which they operate. She also regularly advises clients, who range from individual entrepreneurs to major multinationals, on brand protection and exploitation strategies, and assists in trade mark applications and oppositions.
