Expertise and Experience
Peter works mainly in the chemical and biotech sectors. His patent practice covers a very wide range of technologies including genetic engineering, metabolic engineering, biochemical diagnostics, optical diagnostic instrumentation, image analysis, pharmaceuticals, chemical engineering, chemical synthesis, biofuels and packaging materials.
Peter has extensive experience of patent drafting, and has filed and prosecuted patent applications throughout the world. He also has years of experience of successful advocacy before patent and trade mark tribunals.
Peter has appeared before the European Patent Office at all levels including the Enlarged Board of Appeal. He has an extensive and successful track record in oppositions, including appeals.
Peter joined Beck Greener in 1983 having already qualified as a British and European Patent Attorney.
Peter retired from the Partnership on 31 March 2016, and remains as a Consultant.
