BA Barrister (non-practising)
Ian read Philosophy at Leeds University and Law at City
University, London. He trained as a Barrister and joined
Lincoln’s Inn in 1983. He is a Registered
Trade Mark Attorney.
Ian has wide ranging experience in handling contentious
IP matters. He is an expert in trade mark and
merchandising law, both in the UK and internationally.
His clients range from sole traders to billion dollar
businesses and he represents many major names in the
entertainment industry.
