Hans Muhlberg

Hans has two law degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand (Johannesburg) and a masters degree from the University of South Africa. He is admitted to practice as an attorney in South Africa and a solicitor UK, and he is also a registered trade mark attorney. He has been a partner at major IP firms in both the UK and South Africa and, for seven years, he ran his own firm in Johannesburg. He rejoined us in 2008, having previously been with us from 1997-1999.
Hans has specialized in trade mark, copyright and design law for some 25 years. He is a prolific writer who has written numerous articles, as well as a book on trade mark law called The Law of the Brand. In his spare time he does investigative journalism.
